The Air and Ground Cavalry School is proud to announce that we will be conducting the Basic Fixed Wing Course. This course provides the foundations of Fixed-Wing aviation in the Arma 3 Area of Operations. This class will not be in game at any time. It will be followed by a separate Basic Flight Evaluation scheduled at instructor's discretion.

- Preflight and startup
- Taxi and parking
- Takeoff
- Basic Flight Maneuvering (BFM)
- Approaches and landings
- Bullseyes and their use
- SERE (Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape)
Student Prerequisites
- Graduated Basic Land Navigation [BLN]
- Graduated Basic Radio Communication [BRCC]
- Graduated Ground School [GS]
- No active negative action
- Pen and paper
- ArmA 3 installed with the CavPack installed and working

- Alpha Company troopers of the Fixed-Wing Aviator In Training (155A) given priority slotting
- If you sign up for a class and are unable to attend, please reply in this post letting us know ahead of time so we can give someone else your slot
