Briefing
At the beginning of January, Russian Forces were observed building troop strength along the Western Georgia/Russian border. In February, an F-22 Raptor from the United States Air Force reported 2 Russian Su-35 Flankers had crossed the Georgian border over the Caucasus Mountain Range and their flight was forced to engage.
The F-22 flight shot down both of the Su-35s before being exposed to Russian S-200 SAMs and evacuating the airspace. Since then, Russian Forces have been mounting hit and run attacks through the Caucasus in order to harass and occupy the nearby NATO Airbase. The United States and United Kingdom have condemned the attacks and begun generating Troop Strength in Georgia.
The US Army has elected to send their new Divisional Combat Units of the 7th Calvary Regiment to guard the western flank of Georgia, and to make entry into Russia should it be deemed necessary.
