Civil war is raging in Syria. A number of factions fight for survival across the country while around them their neighbors watch the unfolding chaos nervously. Emboldened by the support of the Russian Federation the Syrian armed forces strive to crush the breakaway Democratic Forces in the north, whilst in the northeast a violent insurgency is adding fuel to a raging fire. The US has kept a close eye on the situation and is currently projecting force in the region and regularly flying "Training exercises".
Our initial attack on the inland S300 Sam site was a mild success, knocking out the track radar, however embedded assets on the ground have given us intel that the site not only had redundant radars, it also had been bolstered overnight with additional mobile radars and support units. It is now not only fully functional, but even more powerful, and aware of our attack lanes and alleys.
