SITUATION:
As the Sudanese Civil War degrades to chaos and members of the Rapid Support Force gain support throughout the Sahel, the United States has responded with force, deploying Task Force Bison to the region to hunt RSF elements in the Dariyah region of the Darfur Provinces - and more importantly, to stop incoming armor from Libya from reaching Khartoum.
MISSION:
Charlie Company will conduct a preliminary nighttime static line jump to secure an airfield and pathfind other DZs for follow-on jumps by the 173rd Airborne. From there, they will stage to begin Motorized raids on nearby RSF positions to expand their airhead and security bubble. After the airfield is secured, C-17s will airlift Bravo Troop into the AO to allow mechanized capability for the Task Force.
