The Air and Ground Cavalry School is proud to announce that we will be conducting a Advanced Fixed-Wing Workshop for motivated individuals. This course is intended to cover topics that are new to the updated Fixed-Wing Evaluation and were not previously taught in the AFWC. It is intended for those who have previously taken the Advanced Fixed-Wing Course but not yet completed their Advanced Fixed-Wing Evaluation. While all troopers are welcome to attend, only those who have already taken the full AFWC will be eligible to schedule evaluations immediately following the Workshop. All others will be required to graduate the AFWC once offered. The workshop will take place during the normally scheduled Section Practice of 4/1/A/1-7 Valkyries and will not exceed 60 mins, though pilots are welcome to remain for practice beyond that time.
Troopers Will Train on Topics including but not limited to:
- Carrier takeoffs/landings
- Evasion of Surface-to-Air and Air-to-Air weaponry
- Paradrops and Cargo Drops
