Task Force Valkyria - 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1-7CAV, Charlie Company, 2nd Platoon.
After the full-scale invasion by the Eastern Europan Empire, NATO Forces have finally committed to the fight and have stalled the Imperial Advance at the border of the Niakala Province.
A river divides the province into East and West, with Imperial Forces on the West, and TF Valkyria on the East.
After days of stagnation along the line of contact, the 22nd SAS conducted a daytime raid on a command post in Northern Niakala, discovering intelligence that allows 1-7CAV to take the fight to the 23rd Motorized Rifle Brigade in the region.
This intelligence specifically mentions that the 23rd MRB (23MRB) Commander and his staff will be conducting a battlefield circulation to visit a forward outpost 16km from the front line, along an MSR that leads directly to the line of contact.
Battalion Staff has deemed this as an excellent opportunity to announce 1-7's presence in the Area of Operations and has put together a raid plan to ambush the 23MRB Commander and harass multiple positions along this forward outpost.
This forward outpost is manned primarily by elements of the 23MRB's Reconnaissance Company, as well as being supported by their forward artillery.
While there are fighting positions focused toward the line of contact, it appears that the 23MRB Reconnaissance Company does not have plans for a deliberate defense of the area, likely due to not expecting NATO Forces this far inland.
MISSION:
On order, 2nd Platoon, Charlie Company, Task Force Valkyria conducts a combat patrol to ambush the 23MRB command staff and raid Objectives Nightmare, Dark and Fear before linking up with an extraction convoy and exfil back to the Company CP for debrief.
2nd Platoon will be conducting an offset on-foot infil and will SP at a final release point before conducting their mission.

The OIC of this operation will be graded based on PERFORMANCE, using a given metric that the OIC can review prior to taking on the role. By taking on the role of OIC, you agree to have your score shared with other OICs of this operation.
Further, this operation features almost a dozen complex objectives. It is NOT your task to try and complete them all, but instead perform the main objective and use your best judgment on how best to complete this "side missions". Rushing through this op and trying to 100% complete all objectives is not advised.

IF the AC-130U works properly, the Global Hawk slot will be dropped to provide a 5th crewman for the AC-130. If we have problems at launch with the AC-130, we will drop it and use the RQ-4 AND the Blackfish.
