BRIEFING:
At the beginning of January, Russian Forces were observed building troop strength along the Western Georgia/Russian border. In February, an F-22 Raptor from the United States Air Force reported 2x Russian Su-35 Flankers had crossed the Georgian border over the Caucasus Mountain Range and their flight was forced to engage. The F-22 flight shot down both of the Su-35s before being exposed to Russian S-300 SAMs and evacuating the airspace. Since then, Russian Forces have been mounting hit and run attacks through the Caucasus in order to harass and occupy USAF aircraft. The United States and United Kingdom have condemned the attacks and begun generating Troop Strength in Georgia. As forces from the US and UK prepare for the coming conflict, 1-7 Cav has been deployed into Georgia to maintain stability in the region and provide flank security once the inevitable conflict beings.
