Road to War
Tembelan Island is currently considered a level 4 threat for international travel. A local extremist group has begun terror operations all around the Island at this time with the local government unable to repel any threats. A UN peacekeeping force was dispatched to help the local government to gain control of the situation. Over the course of several months the peacekeepers have been unable to properly handle the growing terror threat, leaving the UN with no other choice but to deploy combat troops within the nation. Growing distaste for the NATO forces has caused a surge in terror attacks within the region with more civilians joining the cause. Recently a large-scale terror attack on the key city of Kumuh Persegi has left the city in shambles, local police forces were overrun, and UN base nearby has gone dark. MISFIT platoon has been activated to secure the situation.
