We're vollies, but entirely engines. We got special response stuff like boats and high waters and UTVs and such. It's a single station in a coastal town of less than 9000. Although, everyone and their grandma has been bothering the city about us getting a tower so hopefully that becomes a thing soon.
Funny you mention that, a few months ago we had a multi-city response for a 2 or 3 alarm fire that came in as a reported structure fire.

It was a damned BBQ pit and there was a miscommunication.

We also get calls about debris being "distressed swimmers/floaters" and then we also get called out a few times a year for recovery, which is super fun. My personal favorite as of late are "plane crashes" which are just para-gliders practicing emergency descents.

I did alot of work during Harvey.

Snow, you are eligible for re-enlistment. Thats the good news, the bad news is that I, your worst nightmare, is now the CO (Yea, I have no idea how either) So get your lame ass back in the cockpit. Flight manuals are done, wings are yours for the taking, or earning.
