I was told that TAC2 is considering implementing a reserve status so that when real-life issues/difficulties/constraints keep us members temporarily unavailable to make some sectionals or missions, we aren't discharged if we use a reserve function. Is this being considered or in the works? I was instructed to post this question here.

This is something that was brought up at a recent meeting the Battalion staff hosted with interested members. The idea has been forwarded to the General Staff for discussion but we haven't seriously discussed it yet, so no decision regarding this idea is pending yet. Stay tuned.

Not specifically for Tactical realism 2 (the server). A specific area within the Cav membership in general

I should clarify because I heard you saying something about this the other day. There is no membership requirement to play on TAC 2. It is a public modded server we host. Anyone can setup the mods and play on the server.

Hamm, you have a ton of time on the servers lately, you should re enlist, if things come up making an sp hard to make one day I'm sure you remember we allow makeups and are very easy to work with on them! No need for a reserve when you can be an active member contributing to your team weekly

Sgt. I agree and you are correct, I do have a lot of time on Tac1 recently, mainly because I'm getting a new job and wasn't sure about the hours/schedule yet and I didn't quite want to commit to the section team if I wasn't ready and didn't want to jeopardize myself with 2 discharges. But I will go ahead and re-enlist, but I seem to remember that I have to fill out a form, but I cannot for the life of me locate this form. (thought it was on 7th Cav wiki). Can somebody point me to this form, if that is still a requirement.

    Hello there bud,

    https://7cav.us/enlist

When you arrive on that form, select the re-enlist tickbox.

Good to have you back, brother.

I am having trouble with the Steam 64 bit number. I'm following the instructions which say: If your URL includes the long numerical value between profiles/ and home, then this number is your 64-bit Steam ID. If not, you have set a custom URL. Go to Step 3.

Mine does NOT have the long number, so I went to step 3 and got it. However, mine doesn't say "profiles" it says "id" so I'm not sure exactly where to place that number. When I originally did this my section leader walked me through it during my setup. Is there a way I can find what I already/originally had set up through 7th Cav or can somebody tell me where to put this number. and also, mine doesn't say "home" Do I put the long name before my user name?

    i.e. profiles/https://steamcommunity.com/id/76561197998120736chaos4545/home <--------Would this be correct?

That long number beginning with 7656 is your Steam64 ID. Just take it out of the URL up until your username and it should be good.

Edit: Sorry just reread your 2nd paragraph. You should just put the 7656 number into the ID box I believe
