    We recently received a concern on retirement and people getting it in "less than three years."

    Here is the link to retirement qualifications, see section 4-6.1

    TLDR, people can earn retirement the original way of two years continuous service, or three years service broken up with discharges. This has always been the way it was done.

    Several months ago, on suggestion from the membership, we added bullet two of retirement qualifications allowing people who go above and beyond by participating in secondaries to receive credit towards retirement. Allowing someone to retire in less than two years.

    So there it is.
