    Specialist Joe Sinca

    For extraordinary heroism and skill while serving as the Crew Chiefs of Buffalo flight during Combat Operations in the Malden theater. Private First Class Joe Sinca (Buffalo-1) and Specialist Kyle Bema (Buffalo-2) were in the process of inserting friendly elements into the target objective. While en-route, their flight was engaged by 2x UH-60M. Both crew chiefs immediately began returning fire, in an attempt to suppress the enemy assets. While in a defensive posture, Buffalo-1 and 2 were able to gain the advantage against a single UH-60M, at which point both crew chiefs coordinated to engage the lone UH-60M. Having turned the engagement in their favour, Buffalo-1 and 2 quickly moved to engage and destroy the final UH-60M. Both crew chiefs skill and technical ability were vital to them winning an air-engagement stacked against them. Their actions were vital to the success of the engagement and his actions are a credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry.

    First Sergeant Patrick Summerfield

    For extraordinary heroism and skill while serving as pilots of Buffalo flight during Combat Operations in the Malden theatre. Second Lieutenant Wulf (Buffalo-1) and First Sergeant Summerfield (Buffalo-2) were in the process of inserting friendly elements into the target objective. While en-route, their flight was engaged by 2x UH-60M (OPFOR). Both pilots immediately began evasive flight while their gunners started returning fire. While in a defensive posture, Buffalo-1 and 2 were able to gain the advantage against a single UH-60M, at which point their crews were able to quickly decimate the airframe. Having turned the engagement in their favour, Buffalo-1 and 2 quickly moved to engage and destroy the final UH-60M. Both pilots’ leadership, skill and technical ability were vital to them winning an air-engagement stacked against them. Their actions were vital to the success of the engagement and his actions are a credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry.
