    Specialist Skylar Simes

    For gallantry in action while serving a trooper of Misfit-1 during combat operations near Ovallestan Valley on 15JUN19. Specialist Simes risked his own life when a ZSU suddenly became active danger close to the entire squad, with only a moments notice and a risky distance from himself to the ZUS risked his own life in order to properly and efficiently fire his AT-4 to finally disable the ZSU. Specialist Simes heroism and skill as a trooper are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the Unites States and reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

    Staff Sergeant Justin Robbi

    For an extraordinary act of valor while under direct enemy fire and difficult flight situations while serving as UH-60M pilot in the 7th Cavalry Regiment during combat operations near Fareldraguz, Clafghan on 15JUN19. Staff Sargeant Robbi was reponsible of deploying the Mustang-2 Flight Medical team into the Area of Operations. While en route, the aircraft was spotted and engaged by ISIS forces with small arms fire. During Staff Sargeant Robbi both fly-by's, his skilled piloting enabled not only evading enemy fire but also deploying and extracting not only the Mustang-2 team safely but several HVTs into and from two hot LZs, both LZs on uneven terrain with a great quantity of trees and rocks, giving the pilots a small to none room for error, without sustaining major damage to the frame of the aircraft in both occasions. SSGT Robbi personal bravery and devotion to duty were critical to the success of the mission and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

    For outstanding gallantry in action during the entirety of Operation Blue Field while serving as Crew of Buffalo-1. During their duties they received a call for fire support during which these individuals successfully worked together to suppress and eliminate enemy positions thus saving the lives of many friendly assets in a nearby occupied village. They then later laid down fire while Buffalo went in for extract of 3 HVT individuals at the request of Mustang, communicating with the Pilot and ground forces to ensure efficient action and reaction. Then on the ground they escorted, under fire, the HVT's to the aircraft ensuring they were delivered successfully back to base. These actions were instrumental in the critical success of the operation. Their actions, dedication, and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest standards of the Cav and reflect great credit on themselves and the Unit as a whole.

    Staff Sergeant Petey Claxton

    For heroism in action under direct enemy fire while serving as a machine gunner in MISFIT-3 in the 7th Cavalry Regiment during combat operations near Fareldraguz, Clafghan on 15JUN19. . While escorting a heavy weapons team to an overwatch position, MISFIT-3 was ambushed by an enemy ZSU-23-4 Shilka with a supporting infantry squad. With many of Staff Sergeant Petey Claxton's fellow squad members wounded, Staff Sergeant Petey Claxton manned his SAW Machine Gun in a defensive position and eliminated four flanking hostiles that were approaching the MISFIT-3's CCP. Staff Sergeant Petey Claxton's actions undoubtedly saved the lives of his team. Staff Sergeant Claxton's dedication and heroism are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.

    Corporal James Coots

    For heroism in action under direct enemy fire while serving as Fire Team Leader in MISFIT-3 in the 7th Cavalry Regiment during combat operations near Fareldraguz, Clafghan on 15JUN19. With a fresh Lieutenant leading MISFIT-3, Corporal James Coots was instrumental in both leading his troopers, and assisting the Squad Leader. Throughout every engagement, Corporal James Coots could be heard above the gunfire checking on his troopers and directing suppressing fire towards the enemy. Corporal James Coots greatly contributed to the overall success of MISFIT-3 in Operation Blue Field leading to no loss of life throughout the operation. Corporal James Coots 's dedication and heroism are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself and the 7th Cavalry Regiment.
