oh Boy. There is a bit to unpack here. Let me take a shot if I may. TeamSpeak3 and this Forum is our bread and butter. Discord is just quality of life thing. Discord is mainly used as a lounge or mobile program to instantly chat with people using your phone. Lets say, at work. We are not phasing out Team Speak any time soon as far as I know. True...which is why I don't understand why we would downgrade to kindergarten level of comms. Might as well just stay on the in-game comms if that's the case. This is an issue. Tac1 has been a bit slow lately and has been not receiving as much care as it should. If you have a problem, harass the Operators online. It is their job to help you, or find some one who can. Agreed. Tac1 is picking up pretty good, but quite slow in past recent months. It receives good care from the JB and Dakota, but the rules are simply NOT enforced at all. As for the "air" and "ground" channels. I don't know why those were added, probably just thinking that options would help organize communication flow. There mainly was a need to have a channel for ground forces to talk that didn't interfere with air chatter. I use the ground channel to scream "frag out" and "contact 100m 3-o-clock!" Not to call in pick up requests. I do that in chat. I cannot for the life of me figure out why you would need to add a teamspeak "air" channel and "ground" channel when you already have that provided in the game itself. How does that not negate the in game chat and moreover, how does that improve comm efficiency? This needs to be reversed because it's already in the in-game chat already. Now, the unintended result is that nobody even bothers with TS and just uses the in-game chat, which for pilots muddies up communications. Brevity is also completely lost. Team Speak, Enforce the Rules, Report violations, Good comms, etc. etc. Team Speak is the law...enforce the law. And I would strongly suggest deleting the "sub-channels" on TS for air and ground as they have proven to be worthless.
