Twice in two days I have encountered the god mode glitch.
you would probably have to be way more specific as this bug has been around since the arma 2 days and is nearly impossible to track down or deal with without a lot of specifics.
First part could be solved with a vanilla style "earplugs" hotkey - where pressing a certain key would turn your volume down.
Fell that the second part would be better solved with a rule stating that "you must play as the role you have selected," which would cover people in infantry slots stealing helis as well as pilots/tankers playing infantry. However, you would need some leeway with enforcement to account for disabled vehicles (IE; shot down or treads broken).
ACRE already has the ability to turn down/dampen audio while in a vehicle but most people don't know it exists or do not know how to turn it down more manually. Now I do not remember if this option works "completely" as its been a while since i've been on arma, so someone who knows how to use ACRE will have to either test this or just state if it works or not (still dampens sound) while traveling with the map open.
There already is a blanket rule that covers what you have suggested or at least there was last I remembered. On the note of rules I'm gonna be the bad guy here and say rules only work when they are enforced which is only 50% of the time and only when REALLY needed other wise its very lenient so I would rather have "Exploits" which have been used and abused by literally everyone (yes everyone) who knows how to use them patched out.
This has been patched, and will be available in the next update.
Because the rules arent enforced 100% ends in a result of the low standered of people enlisting and because in their mind because rules was so relaxed on public servers they can act in the same manner
I don't think low enlistment numbers can be directly tracked to a lack of rules and regs. We have them on the board, Cav members are expected to follow them. We'll need to educate and disemminate internally first and let it spread from there. Once Cav members stop doing it, then public players won't as well.
From what I've seen it's when tempers flare or things get heated that's when it starts to break down and we have public players begin to complain. No real solution to that, that's just the way it is.
Main reason I wanted to make this post though is to just say the new loyalty vehicles system is outstanding, a suggestion for improvement (and pls correct me if I'm wrong) is to add the camo selector, e.g if we're on a desert map we can select desert etc. I'm not saying colors or anything crazy like that, just choose between existing types.
Also wanted to see if the unarmed prowler could get added to that list. The central Gunner firing position is the stuff of dreams.
What if we had the AV-8B Harrier II? Would be an interesting choice for CAS because of its VTOL capability. Could make use of Apollo FARPs.
There is a camo selector, it's the drop-down above the the spawn button. Many vanilla vehicles do not have additional camos, but things like the Huey have quite a few.
Your vehicle suggestion will be added.
I'm not talking about low enlistment numbers i'm talking about low standered of people enlisting. Because rules arent enforced 100% when public players join the cav they follow on the mind set that they themselves can act loosely around the rules of the server because there isnt a high ranking member on ts/game server not remembering that the this Unit has or had a certain reputation to hold.
I will leave it at this as this isnt server feedback but didnt wanna leave ya hanging on a possible reply.
All in all we have a Rep to protect rules should be enforced regardless of rank and if a admin is needed they people shouldn't be afraid to send a MP a ping or a NCO/Officer with game admin perms.
All, this discussion does not belong here in this thread. If MPs or Admins are not enforcing the rules, please make sure to take it up your CoC properly. If the current admins in the server are not doing their jobs properly, please inform another admin of their failure.

Last two nights there's been 40+ on the server at peak time. Tac 2 is back, but even better than before.
I want to clarify a few things in regards to the "God Mode Glitch"
Under 7th Cavalry Gaming General Order One - Exploitation of the God Mode Glitch is not allowed. If you are caught exploiting this glitch, you will be warned. Failure to adhere to these warnings will lead to a further discussion with the admin on duty and a potential ban if warranted.
To fix this glitch, you will need to relog on the server. We are currently looking into fixing the solution, but at the moment it seems to be an issue on ACE's end.
IF THE ABOVE STEPS ARE NOT FOLLOWED BY THE ADMIN ON DUTY, FILE A BAN APPEAL IMMEDIATELY AND PM SSG.GEKI.T WITH DETAILS ON YOUR BAN.
So do loyalty vehicles have a despawn timer? I have noticed that sometimes people spawn them, use them and then leave them out in the map. Since they dont have map markers it is difficult to recover or demo them, and some have a limit to the number on the map.
They don't at the moment, but if I have some time I'll add that in.
On Sahrani right now, none of the Mission Controller slots appear to detect the right people to allow them to use it. You are kicked after you load in.
The mission worked yesterday, and no changes have been made since. It is possible somebody has touched the Zeus permissions server files. @Sweetwater.I @Ratcliff.M ?
Yep, its the zeus assignment .sqf. I forgot to add another comma when I was adding new permission on a ticket which is why the whole whitelist is fubar. will fix when we can restart.
Invincible mode happened on Logistics lead, on first death, after a couple of hours play.
This issue seems to happen always are not at all and will always trigger on first death/respawn in my cases.
