The S3 ArmA Aviation Center of Excellence is conducting Rotary flight training in the month of March. This training is open to all troopers of the Regiment, regardless of MOS, However it is not open to public players. We will be running the Ground School and Basic Rotary Wing. • Flight basics.
    • Airfield familiarization.
    • Radio procedures.
    • Aeronautical navigation.
    • Aircrew procedures.
    • Flying the circuit.
    • Landing procedures.
    • Emergency procedures.

    Basic Rotary-Wing

Basic Rotary-Wing is 1.5 hours long and covers the following topics:
    • Pre-flight and start-up.
    • Taxi and parking.
    • Takeoff.
    • Flight Maneuvers, and flight levels
    • Landing.

I'm looking forward to both of these classes, except I work Monday thru Friday on the West Coast so I can't make these times.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for other class times.

To confirm this is for fixed wing like the f16 and not the gunships like an apache, correct? If that is the case I would like to attend the course, I have already completed ground school. Unfortunately I have an SP at the start of the following hour, but maybe I can work something out.

Ground School is for both. But Basic Rotary is for...wait for it...rotary.

    Insert crayon joke here.

Being dumb can actually be an asset. With credentials like that you'll be an SL in no time.

If I am ever handed a leadership role, ready the brig. I'll lead my (wo)men into certain death only, such is my luck.

I may be 15 min late. Will that be too late for me to attend the class?
