Pros:
  • Despite a shorter amount of time to plan, the combined efforts of those who helped are never a loss.
  • Nodes up without a hitch.
  • Infantry on the ready line at go-live.
  • Good coordination by infantry with node building and trucks.
  • Solid attempt to put up a fight with little success.
  • Humbling
  • Great post-game chats all night.
Cons:
  • Very challenging to defend the point. Despite having a second squad dedicated to defense, they were fast and overwhelming.
  • If the garri wasn't being sniped, we were getting hit with extremely well-placed arty shots.
  • Poor sportsmen like comments being made in their chat
  • Poor taste in regards to some individual's comments regarding hotwash, "This was pathetic." "It sucked, it wasn't any fun."
  • Poor attitudes by some individuals post-game.

Pros:
  • Good to face a quality Opponent
  • Good turnout for this Operation
  • Planning overall was good
  • We had some successes in their back lines and needed a little more time to disrupt the enemy
  • Airborne had good communications in Discord
Cons:
  • Execution of the overall plan was not good in certain aspects
  • We lost in less than 25 minutes
  • MERC was utilizing glitching and violating standards we set forth

Pros:
  • Lots of motivated SLs to create a good plan.
  • Command chat was not clustered like the last times.
  • Flanking was surprinsingly easy as their whole clan just blitzkrieg towards us.
Cons:
  • Got super outgunned, they killed 3 or more of our infantry before we could even down one of them.
  • Stomped, twice.
  • Setting up just to spawn kill on OPs and garrisons without even trying to push them is unsportsmanship IMO.
  • One of them was literaly trolling my squad in the 2nd round with a flamethrower, far enough to not destroy it but close enough for his flames to kill us right when we spawned... never destroyed it, I spawned somewhere else and switched my OPs location, after 5min right before I switched my OP, it was still there and hot.

Pros:
  • Good match start tactics with nodes on axis side.
  • Good driving and getting Recon squads deep early.

Cons:
  • Unable to keep up with axis assault on their flanks
  • Enemy Recon tank owned the southern half of both maps at the start.

Pros:
  • Troop movement and asks were executed
  • should attempt to steal their formulations of a dry run, can incorporate some of the extended envelopment movement into games rather than the crash movement.
  • extending some of the elements out to smaller squads may work but utility may be lost in some regard, something to engage with

Cons:
  • More prework may have helped, short notice
  • For ally game the lack of a second truck left 12 men of the infantry north walking, fixed in the axis game
  • generally felt as if playing with foliage is a no go any longer in these matches
  • Some negative comments in hotwash will kill engagement with this comp match stuff, "this was pathetic" is not constructive nor relevant, everyone knew this was going to be a tough fight - the intent was to gauge where we fell in ability

Pros:
  • It was a great learning opportunity. We now have a greater understanding of where our weaknesses lie and where to build from it.
  • I understand the mistakes I made during the operation and will be prepared to plan for them in the future.
Cons:
  • I failed to establish backup garrisons in a timely manner. This meant we were on the backfoot from the very beginning, and it only snowballed from there. Going forward, I will make sure the airborne defensive squads are getting the early game garrisons in place as their number one priority. Failing to have a contingency plan really cost us this game, and I take much of that responsibility. You can't play this game if you can't spawn properly and outflank your enemies. Wide garrisons are absolutely critical.
  • I don't it was ever really clearly understood by our team how much in danger we were in during both matches. It was very clear the defense could not hold, but I never heard it called out properly. The second round had some improvement, but not enough to make much of a difference.
  • The negativity is getting to be really irritating. People who cannot handle a loss have no business playing in a competitive setting. The negative feedback offers zero value. Constructive criticism is one thing, but whining is another... Especially when the whining comes from those who do not participate in the planning, and do not participate in the practices.

Pros:
  • My squad's troopers stayed calm, collected, level-headed throughout
  • Comms were good
  • Good insight to different tactics and how maybe to combat them
Cons:
  • Outgunned
  • Not likely to be able to continue matches against this level of competitive team without rethinking our whole squad/leadership structure, which may not be a possibility
  • Issue with transport truck not being spawned as requested during first match, causing 12 infantry to be left on foot including 3 SLs.
  • Flanks too far out that allowed enemy infantry to infiltrate behind our lines with ease
