Zeus Notes:
The ROE restrictions worked great with using them in vehicle limiting greatly what they could do.

Outlaw needs a respawn timer as to not seem over bearing at times (45 seconds to 90 seconds would be a good balance).

While the infantry focused vehicles were good were they are, the anti air should be reevaluated with the igla truck in tier 3, and the S-60 in tier 1.

Pros:
  • Had fun running as weapons squad
  • Good use of captured equipment
  • Good squad comms
Cons:
  • Only a three man element
  • Unable to engage armor at one point due to people not moving from back blast area

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Tyrcon.L "Boxer" / "Dory"
Warrant Officer 1 Sutodoreh.W "Scooter"

Pros:
  • Lots of fun
  • Even with members dropping at the last minute we were able to wrangle three experienced pilots for VADER who worked extremely well together
  • Felt like the BLUFOR side started off uncoordinated, which was to be expected, and then at some point did a reset and became a much better coordinated opponent -- I'm not sure how they felt themselves but it seemed from our end as the opposing force that BLUFOR had a real learning experience they took advantage of this op, which would be the goal of the FTX!
  • OUTLAW ground units helped, we would often bait BLUFOR overhead of AAA to get them involved which allowed us to keep things interesting without actually having to resort to shooting the BLUFOR birds down
  • 11 personal kills in the first half followed by only 4 in the second (similar ratios for -2 and -3) really reinforces the degree to which BLUFOR's coordination improved over the course of the operation

Cons:
  • I would've liked to have another pilot or two present but numbers are what they are
  • G-RESISTANCE -- I'm 95% sure that our slots didn't have g-resistance toggled as the slightest turns at speed would black us out (Sparrow.P forgot to mention this in the AAR but worth pointing out for the future, it's something I always forget to toggle myself)

Pros:

  • Really awesome to have a Company FTX end up being a Battalion event!
  • Squad really enjoyed playing with each other.
  • Clean MOUT from the squad.
  • Really involving mission with intense portions.
Cons:

  • Squad/Platoon security was lacking at times.
  • Final defensive position needed some more aggressive movement/pushing out to take key terrain.
  • Prioritization of CAS to assist with protecting infantry
  • AO was a bit small for size of friendly element. Understandable when turn out is uncertain but might merit adjustment by Zeuses.
  • Succession of command was a bit lacking at times.

Pros:
  • Great turnout.
  • A lot of enemy contact.
Cons:
  • Extremely poor frame rate, never got over 14 until the end when there was a respawn.
  • TFAR radio issues where I couldn't adjust or hear all channels that I had setup.

Pros:

  • The numbers were fantastic.
  • Not a single black tag and only one red tag.
  • Everyone had a good time.
  • Very good movement through the city.
  • Good holding of blocking positions.

Cons:

  • Raiders getting taken down hurt a lot due to amount of vics.
  • Would've brought more AT if it was known the enemy had so many vics.

Pros:
  • Very enjoyable operation/FTX.
    • Would love to see, from an infantry standpoint, a redux of this mission as a 1 Life (somehow)!
  • Decent coms with ATLAS and -7.
  • Expert care, flexibility and use of autonomy observed in ATLAS team.
  • Very good buddy aid observed at a squad level.
  • CLS' were very on point with their casualty care and handoffs.
Cons:
  • Server performance seemed poor with some desync issues later into the op.

Pros:
  • Was able to teach multiple aspects of Raider to individuals.
  • Plenty of Targets to engage throughout the mission.
  • Mission location was favorable for Raider element for sightlines and cover.

Cons:

  • Tail Rotor Emergencies can't be performed on the Carrier, it clips and causes a bad end result
  • AA elements throughout were challenging, we spent a majority of the mission defending ourselves. Took away our ability to work with Chaos 2 & 4.
  • Phase 2 being pushed early caused rotary to be pushed into a LZ with active AA. Flying into an AO without ISR caused casualties.
