Pros:
Self care was decent
Contacting were taken out quickly

Cons:
First engagement was rushed resulting in multiple callsigns being sighted for mortars.
Was left on a ridge with a Red Tagged Misfit 6 while friendly drove off the ridge not hearing me call out.
Attendance for Op and Atlas was poor
Atlas 4 should be been included a mission suited for Atlas 4 for Vehicle resupply and repairs.
Died twice to being left alone with a injured misfit 6 and again once spawned at re-spawn point.

Pros:
-Troopers enjoyed the difficulty and mission
-Out numbered 15/1, target rich environment
-Lots of new troopers and their first op
-Employed a proper weapons team motorized loadout as per the 7th cav charlie co standard
-All weapon systems used at least once during the mission en order to maximize enemy casualties and bathe in pink mist
-At least twice did we employ a squad line, maximized fire and then pushed contact bearing down with nothing short of withering fire.
-I attempted to keep my men alive and uninjured in the most Enemy casualty producing fashion while supporting 1st squad
-Minimal casualties sustained past red tags.

Cons:
-Initial engagement had mortars land on our backs with enemy at front. I told my squad to break and fall back, a more suitable answer was to push contact as we were winning the fight, and the platoon suffered from it
-PLT macro movement of my squad was risky to head through enemy IDF
-Our calls for fire were within 100-200 meters while using 155 rounds
-TOW Humvee had little to engage with, our Intel on enemy armor, and enemy fixed positions was lacking and we could not engage properly
-As a platoon we gathered under IDF and consolidated too many times
-One of my Gun teams began search and destroy on enemy IDF position without support from either 1st or its sister gun team
-Unfortunately some troopers weren't able to engage as much due to the TOW, or Driving
-We need better/reformed weapons kits
-We had units drive to an unsecured RP/ORP and suffered from enemy contact due to it.
-We moved more like 2 platoons rather than 2 squads, due to this we were out of proper supporting range.

SL Remarks:
-our numbers in ops have dwindled as of late, we need to stop acting like our 2 squads are a whole 2 platoons. On map the plan looks good but on the ground terrain determines our effectiveness. Allow the squads to talk between each-other and conduct the micro movements that lead to the success of our missions.
-we should be more open to using 155 and artillery, it'll increase our effectiveness.
-We may want to look at revolving the platoon around the weapons team instead of the assault team. what we are doing is failing to conduct proper and pertinent leaders recon on ground, and therefor failing to find a proper SBF. At the initial briefing we need to involve the WSL much more in-depth, allow him to tell you what weapons will be the most effective, and how he can deploy them effectively to cover the sister squad/platoon. We often kick off the assault without full coverage or deployment of the weapons team, It often ends with the assaulting squad taking mass casualties.
