Pros:
  • Squad cohesion was superb throughout.
  • Good fun in an intense and constant environment.
  • Brilliant operation parameters and objective setup. Loved seeing Lingor back in the mix.
  • Top work from all air assets throughout.
  • Relished challenging environment and had to work hard to achieve goals.
  • New COI was implemented.
  • Fantastic buddy aid throughout which kept the entire squad alive and combat effective for duration.
  • Well done Dujakovic.R in the VIKING-5 role and managing to overcome mission and mod difficulties.
Cons:
  • Due to small groundforce presence the platoon was never able to mutually support each other properly in the AO.
  • Overall lack of ISR and inital recon. We came up against an entire static line which could of been easily identified and marked so planning could be flexed accordingly.
  • Killed the HVT that did not fit initial description.
  • Scope of operation was planned for x4 VIKING squads and because of this the scope became slightly overwhelming.
  • Unable to sustain full momentum and tactical movement. Advance through the next set of buildings and immediately become bogged down.
  • Lost 6 early which caused a slight slow down of orders.
  • ACRE issues. Despite taking radios from crates and not spawning we still had massive comm issues perhaps due to scripting.
  • We could possibly look at maintaining the KP menu option to allow all players to flex drawing distances, for frames, in built up areas of the map.

Pros:
  • Great team to work with
  • Great comms within the squad and with 7
  • Tons of work for medics 30+ complex surgeries
  • Great response time with a single team covering the whole AO
  • 0 Black tags when patients made it to Atlas care
Cons:
  • Could have used a second Atlas team
  • Intermittent frame issues
  • Acre issues led to some squads being unable to communicate

Element Callsign: GUNSLINGER-7
Element Leader: Specialist Winters.R

Pros:
  • A ton of medical of all types for both GUNSLINGER-7 and ATLAS personelle
  • Terrific communications between ATLAS team and GUN-7
  • Good response time for calls
  • ATLAS-1 went above and beyond with being just 1 team responding to so many calls. Especially keeping VIKING-2 alive while having to provide security themselves
  • Platoon net with 5/6 made it clear where they wanted ATLAS to generally be
Cons:
  • Frame rate issues
  • ACRE issues
  • ATLAS team was tasked to capacity so some calls had to be delayed due to the sheer volume of calls and casualities. A second team would have helped a lot
  • Convoy spacing was too close. Near accident happened that could have made a lot of problems
  • Lack of security at CCP with mass causality event as well as other times during treatments sometimes

Pros
  • Excellent progress considering the high contact levels 2x BLUFOR Squads vs 2x OPFOR Companies (with chunky armour)
  • Excellent work and versatility from a singular Atlas team
  • Excellent work from VIKING-2 orienting and engaging onto contact. Quick and efficient clearing
  • Philips was awesome Sierra multi-crew, excellent fire team leaders in Westcott and Armitage
  • Decent Communication internally in the squad
  • Excellent work from mission maker providing constant contact
Cons
  • Planning felt like it could have been concentrated on important areas, rather than covering the entire AO. There was too much hard clearing in the AO
  • Some ACRE issues, Yelling on radio
  • A little chaotic after 6 left. 5 Took up the reigns exceptionally well after the initial stumble.
  • HVT taken down :(
  • Initial contact in the southwest sector Cafe Rincon. It was a really good addition to the operation but felt like too much and a bit of an appendix given the scale of the operation.
  • Entry to the FOB was where VIKING-2 got stuck. Everything snowballed from there.
  • Lack of ISR - VIKING are also Cav Scouts and can fulfil this role if accounted for in planning.

Pros:

  • Comms were bad first but got better over the entire mission, which is a really positive thing because it means air assets were actively working on improving and getting better
  • Fantastic strikes, no blue on blue, really great CAS work by Raider and HOG
  • Quick CSAR by buffalo
  • Beiter.A absolutely killing it for the 6th time this week somehow -- awesome mission by an awesome mission maker
Cons:
  • Little bit of a disrespect toward leadership and on radio, important to remember that everyone's doing their best and to not let frustration become hostility especially during an operation
  • Frames :'(
