Element Callsign: Lightning/Titan Flight

Pros:

• Good flight comms.
• Great mission from an air perspective.
• Got some stick time with the C-130.
• Lots of CAP.
• Good nine lines from infidel.
• Proper Check-in.

Cons:

• One friendly fire incident due to miscommunication regarding strike target. Infidel received a request for fire on a misidentified BMP-2 and relayed to Lightning 2.
• Not my finest hour personally, just one of those days. In no way the mission's fault.

Pros:

• Worked well as a squad. Good mutual support between the fire teams, Buddy aid, and gunner assistance.
• Good use of vehicles as SBF and Assaulting tools.
• Good Communication within the squad and platoon.
• The operation was well-paced and planned.
• Good leadership within the squad and platoon.
• Good and timely resupply

Cons:

• Testing Scripts during operations is not good.
• None approved kit is being used such as quad nods by ground units.
• Map marking/Red veil made it hard to read the map.

Pros:

• A lot of work to do for the most part.
• Good comms for the most part.

Cons:

• Got ran over twice.
• Fast air got taken out several times, so a lack of CAS at certain times.
• Got a priority call on a BMP and a grid, provided by the infantry, called Type 2 on the position, but apparently that target provided was friendly.; not sure the target was verified by infantry prior to request.

Pros:

• Good communication throughout.
• Excellent flexibility and responsiveness from the Atlas teams.
• I was able to provide some almost-correctly-formatted 6-Lines.
• The drop was seemingly very well executed, with no injuries from the landing nor lost troopers!

Cons:

• The infantry was too good at their job and need to get shot more!

• Great team to work with
• Good comms when working on patients
• Pilot recovery
• Good spread of fractures for surgeon to work on

Cons:

• Some long pauses but to be expected with nature of the op
• Intermittent Frame Drops

Pros:

• Great flight comms
• Great mission from an air perspective, resupply came at perfect time from what we were told
• Infidel was exceptional
• Great mission plan and execution by ground elements
• Ops on TacR can be hit and miss but this was definitely a hit

Cons:

• Blue on Blue
• Large map caused delays with rotary support as 40 minute round trip, so CSAR for Lightning/Raptor was
• FARP might have helped but difficult to incorporate realistically with mission as is
• Some aviation slots not posted in Op Ord. but were available, might have had slightly better turnout?

  • Could use more men in clearing operations
