Pros:
  • Mission accomplished!
  • Nothing better than a large Company level operation with 82 people!
  • Server stability was smooth throughout
  • Atlas supported the entire Company very well
  • All Air assets supported the entire Company very well
  • Infidel-1 did a great job managing the air space
  • Good airborne drop from CH-47's
  • Decent company movement and assault on airfield
  • Good urban operations to clear town and stop enemy counter-attack w/ QFR
Cons:
  • Radio comms on Company Net could sometimes use improvement with SPOTREPS (had 0 called up), SITREPS, and contact reports (calls of "Contact, Wait out!" on the net were very rare). Location and activity were often missing in comms reports.
  • Jump briefs and organization at beginning took ~40 min
  • Troopers did not respond on jump nets to call their accountability ("# on ground)

Pro (WIP):
  • Excellent co-ordination within our element and with INFIDEL C/S
  • Insertion was well executed. (Kudos to our jumpmasters)
  • Communication between aircraft and with FAC was on point
  • Being a large OP (company size) but still well executed

Con (WIP):
  • Unfortunately with the server cap, we did not get enough non-Cav members in the OP
  • Issue with H60 not being able to load in ammo crates for resupply

Pro:
  • Aggressive use of a company size element
  • All medics performed really well supporting the unit when needed
  • Completed all objectives efficiently
Cons:
  • Slow start for a large scale drop
  • Misfit-6 had to go halfway through

Pros:
  • Good Movement within the squad
  • Jump views were amazing
  • Everyone had a lot of fun
  • Excellent movement in the urban environment
  • Communication between fire teams and SL was great
  • Bounding movement was good
Cons:
  • Parachute had an issue with pilots not staggered almost causing troopers to be struck by the helicopters
  • Took a bit to get started in the beginning
  • Insubordination within the squad
Note: Squad was mixed with public players and SPC.Robinson.W is not on the roster

Pro:

  • The insert went well once we started

Con:
  • ACRE consistently failed to work when trying to talk to the pilots, so I was literally left with nothing to do.

7th Cavalry Personnel who really should join:
Lieutenant Colonel Rosefield.M

Pros
  • Squad's assault onto airfield was well executed
  • Evidence of PLT bounding
  • A couple of medal moments
  • The city assault had a great rhythm
  • Troopers enjoyed op
  • Orders clear and concise for troopers
  • Squad was well organized
  • Action, all of the action
  • PLT transition of power when PLT LDR went down

Cons
  • PLT orders were conflicting with each other often
  • PLT/CO tripped over each other
  • 1st resupply was not fast enough, that being said, I believe it is due to the infantry being too fast
  • Time for in-game start time should be displayed more so than the Zulu time the operations start (example: 1900z [0300 in-game])
  • Trooper lost on way to DZRP
  • 30-45 minutes before we even got off the airfield. Not entirely bad timing but we could be much faster, we can easily be 20 minutes and in the helicopter

Pro:
  • Fantastic communication within the platoon despite a few hiccups.
  • Great company movement, and definitely great for internal training within the company.
  • Great succession
  • Squads were hard, heavy, and absolutely effective in their objectives.
  • Great balance with contact, etc.
Cons:
  • Some communication mishaps, noted as a self-improve
  • Bandit had to hold their position long enough that our side of the battlefield began to stagnate and cause casualties
  • Mutual support was, at times, a bit difficult to retain due to our lane placements

Pros:
  • Fantastic to have a company sized operation
  • Atlas teams performed well
  • Great dispatches for medical assistance within platoon
Cons:
  • Bandit-7 (I) could have been clearer on the radio
  • Too many elements on LR-15 net

Element Callsign: Misfit - 7
Element Leader:Sergeant Maco.D

7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
Good Comms within Misfit HQ

Good comms between all Atlas and Bandit on 15
Atlas Teams preformed very well
High level of medical care provided by all atlas teams

Cons:
Start was very slow with troopers not listening and talking over Platoon and Company staff when sorting the jump.
Due to treating people on my own I missed a couple calls on platoon net

First aid was horrible by troopers and resulted is injures becoming worse by not taking self aid or reporting trooper injures to their squad leader or CLS

Pros:
  • 81mm mortar goes boom. (sometimes too close, sorry Danger Close)
  • We destroyed lots of enemy Vehicles.
Cons:
  • Under-Utilized squad most of the time.
  • Radio coms had too many people on them.
  • Had to eventually take initiative and move my troopers out to the town at the last 30 minutes of the Operation so they can shoot their guns.
  • 60mm Mortars are broken.

Pro:
  • Troopers generally had fun.
  • The size and scope of the operation were immense.
  • Platoon maneuvers were fantastic.
  • The airdrop worked very well.
Cons:
  • Frames had a tendency to periodically drop.
  • Lack of contact.
    • How about putting a guy or two down as a QRF? If nothing else, It'll keep the troopers busy.
  • Batallion movements had a tendency of getting platoons mixed up with each other.
    • METTC both allowed for this movement and made it kind of necessary. I think, although it made communications somewhat difficult, it was defineatly useful in order to maintain proper security across all the levels of engagement.

Pros:
  • Good turnout and collaboration between numerous assets - great combined arms OP
  • Good comms and interop within Bandit
  • Good mission planning and execution from both Blufor and mission making standpoints
Cons:
  • Could benefit from more practice coordinating two platoons
  • Jump prep took longer than could be ideal
  • Check-ins and net swap after jump could have been smoother
  • Ammo bug

Pro:
  • Good scope.
  • Company sized drop!
  • Platoon level communication for Misfit was excellent.
  • Very effective weapons team at the airfield to deter OPFOR QRF.
Cons:
  • Battalion movements had a tendency of getting platoons mixed up with each other
  • Utilization of a weapons team for MOUT clearance not optimal.
  • Jump prep was delayed.
