Pros:

  • Great op, loved every second of it - felt so good to do a large scale tank operation w/ proper Cavalry Scout support!
  • Plenty of action, killed multiple enemy tank platoons, mechanized infantry vehicles, and personnel
  • Great crew in Sabre 1-1!
  • Platoon performed following orders very well by doing action drills, react to contact, communication, staying in formation, etc, at a high level
  • Involved a lot of new members and public players that gained good experience
  • Great support from Warhorse 7 and Atlas when needed
  • Good communication with Troop Staff at all times - comms were great
  • Troop movement was very exciting with 2 tank platoons and a scout platoon, plus support vehicles, rolling across the desert at high speeds in formation - looked and felt so good!
  • Really well made operation - everyone had fun!

Cons:

  • It's hard to coordinate 60+ people without significant slow down, but there was some significant down time that could have been sped up probably
  • Some assaults and movements were very cautious for being an armored troop w/ Abrams and Bradley's that could have been trusted to move faster, further, and with more violence of action

Pros:
  • Good Teamwork between the vehicles in the platoon in regards to calling out targets, movement and engagements.
  • Good ACE and Sitreps
  • Good effect on engaged targets
  • Decent communication overall
  • Crew Preformed really well considering we dont really do armor in Charlie and that we had an excellent public player.

Cons:
  • Resupplies where abit messy sometimes and took long time due to it taking 20 sec per ammo type and round to when re-arm. this made us sit around 15-20 min on the FARP's everytime.

Pros:

  • Excellent and concise orders from First Sergeant Geki.T which resulted in effective movement and tasking.
  • There was no arguing. Orders were executed in a timely manner and if there were complaints they were discussed in downtime.
  • ATLAS teams were able to effectively support medically/logistically despite losing ATLAS-3 part way through the OP. This resulted in ATLAS 1 and 2 needing to provide logistical support. Excellent adjustment on the fly.
  • Comms were never at any point cluttered with meaningless conversation. Only missions essential discussions were had on radios and this resulted in no confusion about where to go, what to do, and who was doing it.

Cons:

  • Frame rate dropped from 50+ to <8 for many people in ATLAS.

Please make sure your attendance roster includes the troopers' links to their milpacs instead of just their profiles. @-ing them doesn't work. Cotta copy-pasta.

Non-7th Cavalry Personnel Within Element:

Pros:
  • Outstanding Mission From S3
  • Action Consistent
    • We had highs, lows, and everything in-between so it felt good for 6 hours
  • Action Not Overwhelming
    • Tank combat can be hard to balance but it was done well here
  • Outstanding Public Appearance

Cons:
  • Map Markers Not Utilized
    • Given the number of assets on the field, would have enjoyed battle plans written out on map
    • Not nearly enough enemy markers for cross-platoon/company
    • This includes both Blue Force Tracker and normal map
  • Friendly AI Vehicle Spawns?

Pros:
  • Blood was offered to the blood god this day
  • Good platoon comms, dudes knew (were told) where to go, which way, and how to execute the movement
  • I'm pretty sure we had snipers in gunner positions
  • Plt knew the internal SOP speeds under combat and way to engage targets
  • Troopers had alot of fun even as charlie infantry manning a plt of tanks

Cons:
  • We didn't see enough recce with the troop set we had
  • lost 1 tank all others were armaisms
  • Plt can work on our movement, we had a tank cross our own assault line multiple times
  • One of our tanks although got on comms was unable to get in contact with us and went AWOL
  • We stopped the Batt when 1 Viking element got hit by enemy tank/BMP fire, we should have rolled through and eliminated the threat.
  • Fuel Bladders from atlas were too small, and extended an already long resupply time
  • Blufor tablet dependent, couldn't open the tab because it would crash my game
  • Gunners, Identify your targets and get that fire order from TC we had too many close calls of FF because of gunners getting too trigger happy
  • Next tank op like this we could use a loader on both 1st and 4th Saber

Pros:

  • Great tank op
  • Great server performance
  • Decent turnout

Cons:

  • Many unnecessarily long pauses
  • Response to contact felt underwhelming at times (e.g. whole troop should not pause movement because 1 vehicle gets knocked out)

Pros:
  • Good work on any calls that was made to atlas
  • Gerrish
  • atlas worked well in filling other roles
  • Comms were really good between 7 and all the atlas units
Cons:
  • Framerate dropped dramatically around the 4 hour mark for a good few people
  • The time to resupply was really long especially when you had to refill everything on a tank
