Operation F.R.E.I.G.H.T is a scheduled industrial recovery operation focused on strengthening org resources\, boosting salvage guild reputation\, and supporting fleet readiness. Activities may include hull scraping\, structural fracturing\, hauling\, and logistics in areas with potential environmental hazards or hostile contact.

On Tuesday\, participating personnel conduct coordinated mining operations in Stanton to maximize basic materials extraction\, Due to the continuation of the cosmic crisis that seems to affect the hardness of rocks around the verse we need all hands on deck to crack these geodes open to extract vital resources to further Org expansion and material crafting. End state is the successful mining\, and transport of metals and minerals to predetermined refinery off world\, increasing resource gains\, and improved support for future operations.
This operation is mainly a reorientation to players who have neglected mining for a bit after the wipe and difficulty changes and need help getting back into it. This is the perfect time for both shaking off the rust and getting some sweet\, sweet resources\, thus the need for a dedicated cargo ship and extra mining bags will not be necessary this time as it would create friction and delays from jumping straight into it as shown in prior F.R.E.I.G.H.T ops.

Personnel will muster at Baijini Point at 2030Z\, with operations beginning at 2100Z. Teams will receive assignments based on available ships\, roles\, and operational priorities\, and will execute mining tasks with comms discipline and flexibility.

[CENTER][B][U][SIZE=6]Sustainment[/SIZE][/U][/B][/CENTER]
Sustainment will be based on personnel attendance and capabilities.
Moles should be equipped with optimal mining heads and modules with at least one being built to prevent instability runaway.
Prospectors should be optimized for increased window size and optimal window speed. They should also be outfitted with ARGO bags to replace the OEM bags which grants an increase of 8 whole ScU of mineables storage. Their main goal\, separate of the Moles is the scouting of potential minables to assess and triage quality and direct Moles to where they are needed.
Personnel should bring a Pyro RYT Multi-Tool with tractor and mining attachments.
While it may not be needed it is always better to be safe than sorry so anyone who isn't fussed with sitting around and chatting can sign up to be the miner's escort/s.

[B]Briefing[/B]

Coalition forces have spent the past eighteen months consolidating control of the district centres in Anizay Province\, pushing organised insurgent activity out of the population centres and into the outlying valleys. That success has been uneven.

The rural districts remain effectively ungoverned. Over the past ninety days\, attacks along ROUTE COPPER - the ground line of communication linking the district centre to the outlying villages - have risen sharply. Local nationals describe a weapons distribution network operating out of the valley\, and recent contacts have involved fighters better equipped than the local insurgency has previously been able to field.

1st Battalion\, 7th Cavalry Regiment has been directed to re-establish a persistent presence in the area. BANDIT Platoon\, reinforced with HELIOS and supported by ARCHANGEL Platoon\, will air assault into the valley\, establish Patrol Base TETHER\, and dominate the surrounding terrain through continuous presence patrolling.

PB TETHER has no organic resupply. Everything it consumes must be carried forward from the main base\, along routes the enemy is already contesting.

The [B]Arma Reforger Infantry School[/B] proudly announces that we will conduct the [B]Basic Individual Training[/B] course for up to 12 highly motivated individuals. Basic Individual Training is focused on the skills and knowledge required to function as a soldier within a Fire Team and Squad in an operational or training environment. The class is approximately 90 minutes long. There is a short classroom portion\, practical instruction\, and live fire exercises at the Fire Team level. This course and the [U]Basic Orienteering Course[/U] and [U]Basic Radio Communications Course[/U] are [B]prerequisites for all other courses in Arma Reforger[/B].

[FONT=Roboto]The Regiment will be conducting Officer Development School for candidates wishing to advance their careers in the Regiment by being commissioned as a Second Lieutenant as Platoon Leader slots become available. Officer Development School (ODS) runs over 2 days\, each session lasting approximately 2 hours\, taking place entirely in Discord voice.

The mission of the Officer Development School is to train and mentor the next generation of Platoon Leaders within the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment\, with an emphasis on servant leadership\, building morale\, and tactical mission planning\, as well as knowledge of administrative tasks and standard operating procedures.

[FONT=Roboto]The vision of the Officer Development School is to foster a culture of servant leadership across the Regiment while also ensuring students have a basic understanding of infantry platoon-level tactics\, various administrative SOPs\, and our Code of Conduct. We aim to provide the Regiment with well-rounded officers who are proficient tactically\, administratively\, and who put the needs of their unit before their own.

[*]This will be forwarded up the CoC to the Company Commander for review
[*]Company Staff confer with Platoon Staffs and the Company Commander sends his or her choices to their Battalion Staff
[*]Battalion Staff will review and the Battalion Commander submits the approved names from all companies to the Regimental CoS and ODS Lead

[B]How Does it Work?[/B]

[*]Upon completion of ODS Day 2\, candidates are assigned 3 evaluations which they must complete within one week.
[*]Each candidate is informed of their grade via PM. Grading takes 1-2 weeks after assignments are due.
[*]Candidates who meet or exceed the passing grade for the evaluations are put on an eligibility list in order of their score
[*]When a Platoon Leader position opens up in an MOS or company: Company Commanders\, Battalion Staff\, and the Regimental Chief of Staff choose the member off that list to be commissioned with considerable weight given to score.
[*]The Regimental Chief of Staff is the final authority on grading of officer candidates and commissioning new Second Lieutenants.
