Nine days ago\, a U.S. AH-64 Apache was shot down over the Afghan province of Mandol and their pilots subsequently disappeared. Following the recapture of one of the pilots in the Pakistan Tribal area\, additional intelligence has gathered that the second pilot has been moved to the Qibcaq stronghold in northern Afghanistan. Elements of 3rd Battalion\, 75th Rangers have been directed to move in and rescue the pilot being held in the city.
