Gunkizli\, a small state in the Caucasus mountains\, has recently gone through a military revolution. The revolutionary forces have seized a number of oil fields staffed and operated by US oil companies and are currently holding a number of foreign and US workers at these sites\, refusing to let them go unless a large ransom is payed to the Gunkizli Government.

US Forces have been directed to stage a rescue of these workers and assist with the establishment of an airhead on the east side of the Kendar River\, allowing larger follow on units to enter the country and begin stabilization efforts.
