Area of Operation: Mandol​

Following the Assault led by The Misfit platoon on 13Feb22, The 1st Cavalry regiment was ordered into Mandol, Afghanistan to enforce a mandatory personal weapons amnesty, the regiment went through all towns and collected any weapons from civilians and put them in caches. Buffalo units will need to fly to the friendly location to collect them and bring them back to the base.

During the weapon collection, one major town and a Village rose up and killed some US troops, refusing to give up arms, they see it as an infringement of their rights and are actively enforcing their own will in their residence. AO Red Fox was reported to have about 32 active shooters, threatening to kill more US troops should they interfere in their protests.

In the north, the city of Mandol had a mass uprising against the US enforcement, killing 2 squads of the 1st Cavalry Regiment. The Russian Federation saw this as a time to set up a foothold in Mandol to create a sphere of influence once the US troops were forced out of the area.

The Russian military and airforce have been highly active in the District of Nuristan, supplying weapons vehicles, and manpower from their force. With the use of US A-10s in the assault on Candaldari,13Feb22 , they have moved multiple MIGs, MI-24s, SU-25s, and MI-8s into the area to support the revolutionaries, as well as supplying them with roughly 2 platoons of Infantry Forces. In the North East, an AA station is set up to act as a blocker to filter in their friendly air units.

Misfit Platoon, 7th Cavalry has been tasked with Clearing out AO Blue Goose and Red Fox. 1st Cavalry will reinforce afterward to collect the weaponry left behind. They will have 2x A-10C’s and 2XF-18E’s as CAS and CAP.​
