The year is 1975\, US and Australian forces have been reintroduced to Vietnam following credible reports of North Vietnamese WMDs. Joint Task Force units have been working to secure and consolidate their positions in Southern Vietnam. Meanwhile\, PAVN forces have reorganized themselves and have begun to move against the JTF's new found gains.

Elements from the 7th Assault Regiment have been selected to assault the JTF positions in and around the village of Cu Chi. 1st Platoon\, DAO Company will lead the assault with support from their 3rd Armored Platoon. They will also be supported by medics and mortars provided by the company. Combined\, this force will conduct a night assault on the enemy positions with the intention to destroy the enemy and capture the bridge to the south to prevent enemy reinforcements from arriving.

This operation is being done in cooperation with the Cadian XXth ARMA Group and their "Back Again" campaign. The results of this operation will have a real and tangible effect on their current campaign.

PAVN Infantry Platoon Composition will have nine men to each squad with two 3-man assault cells (Deputy\, Rifleman\, Grenadier) and one 3-man command cell (Squad Leader\, RTO\, Machine Gun). Depending on attendance\, we may open up a 15-man Sapper cell\, standby for further information about this. The tank platoon will consist of three 3-man tank crews with DAO 3-1 acting as the Platoon Leader and DAO-3-4 acting as a dismounted support element.
