[B]1. Situation Overview:[/B]
Friendly forces have been deployed to the Persian Gulf region. Initial operations have produced mixed outcomes\; however\, the adversary's major build-up of materiel and personnel has been successfully halted. Friendly forces have secured Qeshm Island as well as two key airfields located on the mainland. A Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)\, Mechanized Infantry\, is currently positioned at Haradarya to provide security for critical assets and incoming air supply assets. Three mobile anti-air (AA) units are in place to defend the forward airfield.
While key terrain has been seized and enemy build-up has been disrupted\, further ground forces are required to consolidate gains\, reinforce positions\, and counter continued OPFOR activity.

Increase ground presence\, enhance airfield defensive posture\, and maintain surveillance of inland enemy air operations
