Welcome to the next installment of [I]Training Gone Wrong[/I] — an ongoing series of missions where pilots are assigned increasingly challenging tasks.

In the spirit of the mole rat\, capable of digging tunnel systems that stretch for miles\, [B]Operation Mole Rat[/B] will be the first in a series of missions focusing on pushing the range limits of each of our support airframes for A2G strikes.



[H3][B][U]Fixed-Wing Tasking[/U][/B][/H3]
You will employ your [I]longest-range[/I] air-to-ground munitions (excluding cruise missiles).
While this is a training mission\, [B]F/A-18C[/B] and [B]F-16C[/B] flights will coordinate to engage and destroy layered enemy ground forces\, creating an opening for [B]F-14B[/B] and [B]A-10C[/B] flights to advance and deliver their payloads.

[B]Loadout Guidelines:[/B]

[*][B]F/A-18C[/B] – AGM-154 JSOW AND MK82
[*][B]F-16C[/B] – AGM-154 JSOW AND MK82
[*][B]F-14B[/B] – GBU-16
[*][B]A-10C[/B] – GBU-31

[H3][B][U]Rotary-Wing Tasking[/U][/B][/H3]
In support of the Fixed Wing Tasking\, Rotary pilots will establish [B]defensive positions[/B] across the Area of Operation (AO). These defensive positions are located around Points of Interest that enemy forces are currently racing to capture and occupy.

Logistic Helicopters [B]must[/B] supply these zones with:
[LIST]
[*]Air-to-air defense systems
[*]Infantry
[*]Armored units
[/LIST]

Attack helicopter flights will:
[LIST]
[*]Escort logistics aircraft to/from defensive positions
[*]Clear and secure approach routes
[*]Defend established positions against enemy attacks
[/LIST]

[B]Mission Impact:[/B]
Failure to hold defensive positions will directly hinder fixed-wing pilots' ability to complete their strike tasks.
