Following the successful air assault operations across the entire front\, including the securing of Aarre and Haavisto and the neutralization of an enemy SHORAD Platoon by the 1st Battalion\, NATO forces have been able to press the advantage\, securing significant ground and inflicting considerable damage on Russian ground and air forces.

Reports from the European Command Intelligence Center\, based on local and satellite imagery\, indicate that heavier Russian formations have reached the frontline and are preparing a larger offensive focused south of MSR Kroken and the Hydrazine plant. In preparation Russian forces have conducted raids in our rear destroying several SAM and logistics installations. In response to this\, NATO has ordered the Finnish battalion and the 1st Battalion to press the Russian right flank\, aiming to disrupt the Russian preparation for a larger offensive\, relieving some pressure off the 2nd\, 3rd battalions\, and buying time for the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Forces to land and seize the southern part of Virolahti.
