15 years ago the US gifted the territorial control of Guam and the northern Marianas to Taiwan in a groundbreaking show of goodwill and faith designed to cement a permanent alliance whilst creating a bulwark in the Pacific.

36 hours ago reports first came in about complete internet blackouts on the islands\, followed by losses of Television and radio signals. A huge typhoon coupled with some sort of manmade smoke  has created cloud cover over the region for days effectively blinding any satellite imagery. The Island chain has been  cut off from the outside word for nearly two days. The sole communication\, which has yet to be forensically verified\, was a shortwave radio broadcast of Morse code\, intercepted by a long haul fishing vessel. The message read: “China attack Guam lost sos sos”

UPDATE – During  the previous operation\, we successfully completed our initial attacks securing a foothold from which we will be launching our final strikes. Our goal being to liberate these islands from enemy control.
